\nThe play does not want to be an act of self-pity; its author, himself affected, is far too involved in concrete work with and for the disabled... The problem of Stephan W\u00fcnschmann moves on the interpersonal level. In reality, it is not specific to the disabled, but is bundled in the figure of the disabled person as if in a burning glass. W\u00fcnschmann does not need financial support, he is one of the privileged 'invalids' - but he lacks what so many in our society lack. The feeling of security and love. In recent years, the discrepancy between external efforts on behalf of the disadvantaged and ever-widening social isolation has become increasingly apparent. The louder the progress is praised, the bleaker it looks behind the fa\u00e7ade of fine words and laws...
