In October 1997, the Ars Acustica Working Group of the EBU, an international working group of radio representatives and radio artists, at the Literary Colloquium in Berlin. This annual conference was hosted by DeutschlandRadio Berlin and the SFB. On the first evening there was a "session" where many of the participants introduced themselves with short Ars Acustica examples from their countries.
In jazz, "jam session" means that different musicians spontaneously improvise with each other. Götz Naleppa's remix makes this attempt. Different vocal improvisations, soundscapes and sound compositions are mixed, related and brought into a new context.
