In October 1997, the Ars Acustica Working Group of the EBUan international working group of broadcasting representatives and radio artists, at the Literary Colloquium in Berlin. This annual conference was hosted by DeutschlandRadio Berlin and the SFB. On the first evening, a "session" took place in which many of the participants introduced themselves with short Ars Acustica examples from their countries.
In jazz, a "jam session" means that different musicians spontaneously improvise together. Götz Naleppa's remix makes this attempt. Different vocal improvisations, soundscapes and sound compositions are mixed, related and brought into a new context.
