The story of an unusual love
In 1988, Christa S., 48 years old, mother of three, meets
adult children, the then 84-year-old medicine man and
Supreme Sun Dance Chief of the Crow, Tom
Yellowtail for the first time. A little later they marry. Almost
For five years she leads the life of a traditional
Indian wife, accompanies her husband on his travels
to people in need of healing, and will share his
Schoolgirl. In 1994, Tom Yellowtail dies when Christa S. is in
Germany. Two years later, she goes to his grave.
