Content:
The play starts with the Grimm fairy-tale Hans, who - enviably free of any material ties - 'has nothing, but can do everything, and no one can fool him'. (Trolls). But there are other lucky devils to be found in this play. There is a Hans in the big city - an urban wanderer, a flâneur of our days, free to go wherever he wants. Sometimes you see him at the underground, sometimes in a crowd on a pavement, in a train station or just changing sides of the street - you can never catch him. And finally, an Indian scientist, a pianist, a European swimming champion and a Nobel Prize winner find their very own answer to the question of happiness.
