In October 1997, the Ars Acustica Working Group of the EBU,
an international working group of broadcasting representatives and
Radio Artists, at the Literary Colloquium in Berlin.
The hosts of this annual conference were Deutschlandradio Berlin
and the SFB.
On the first evening there was a "session" where many of the participants introduced themselves with short ArsAcustica examples from their countries.
In jazz, "jam session" means that different musicians spontaneously improvise with each other. This is also the case in Götz Naleppa's remix: vocal improvisations, soundscapes and sound compositions are mixed, related and brought into a new context.
