Content:
One autumn day, a little boy disappears in the thick fog of the island of Öland and is never seen or found again. Twenty years later his mother receives a call from her father: there is a new piece of evidence and he asks her to return to Öland and resume the search. There is a rumour on Öland that the sinister Nils Kant is the murderer. But Kant was already in the ground when the boy disappeared. But is Kant really dead? Or is he possibly still haunting the vast limestone plain of Öland?an atmospherically dense and exciting story set against the backdrop of the Swedish island of Öland. For friends of Nordic stories, which also gets along well without the classic investigator figure.
